(k) after notice has been given to all interested parties, an order relieving a liquidator from any omission or default on such terms as the court thinks fit and confirming any act of the liquidator;

Problem

The linguistic versions differ as to content. The terms "omission or default" used in the English version have a meaning that is narrower than the term "faute" used in the French version. The term "manquement" is now used in most recently adopted legislation referring to the same concept in the context of liquidation of corporations.

Solution

In the French version, "fautes" is replaced by "manquements".
