Provision

  17. (2) The proceeds of the sale or other disposition of any investment made out of the Endowment Fund or the University Capital Grants Fund shall be credited to the fund out of which the investment was made.

Problem

The content of the two language versions is not the same. The concept of "realisation" used in the French version is more narrow than the concept of "disposition" used in the English version.

Solution

In the French version, the term "réalisation" is replaced by "disposition" .

  17. (2) Le produit de la vente ou de toute autre forme de disposition des placements effectués avec de l'argent provenant de la Caisse de dotation ou du Fonds d'assistance financière aux universités est porté au crédit de la Caisse ou du Fonds, selon le cas.
