Table 5 shows the proportion of sentenced guideline offenders by primary offense category in 1999 (United States). Drug-related offences were the most common, representing 41%, followed by immigration (18%) and fraud (11%), other (10%) and white collar crimes (8%). Only few sentenced guideline offenders had a firearm-related offense (5%), larceny (4%) or robbery (3%) as their primary offense.
